Granola is yet another fan favorite that isn’t often available in Paleo. Le sigh.
Base Culture’s Sticky Granola is the perfect concoction of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, with a perfected medley of seasonings like honey, cinnamon, and sea salt. The sweet and tangy taste of the dried apricots, peaches, apples, and pears naturally compliments the crunch of the almonds, pecans, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. My mouth is watering just writing this!
For that perfect sticky texture, we added a dose of coconut oil for the consistency of sticky granola we know and love. Truthfully, this granola is so eclectic and tasty that it’s great on it’s own - just get a spoon in there and snack away! - A Paleo Granola Bowl. A classic breakfast is a yogurt bowl with a hefty portion of granola sprinkled on top, for a perfect creamy and crunchy treat once you get that spoon spinning. Try a dairy-free yogurt recipe, with easy and pure ingredients like coconut cream, probiotics, and honey or Stevia for taste. Mix it up, then add granola on top! If you’d like, add some berries - but we thought ahead with our dried fruit additions.
- Sticky Granola Almond Butter Balls. If you feel like getting your hands messy, grab your favorite flavor of our almond butter (we have original, gingerbread, maple, and cinnamon, so the options are nearly endless), and a generous portion of sticky granola. Roll the almond butter with the granola into little almond butter balls! Add some honey to the mixture to make it extra stick.
- Granola Dark Chocolate Bark. Take your sweet snacks to another level with the ultimate granola finish. Make your own paleo-friendly dark chocolate with four easy ingredients: cocoa powder, coconut oil, and honey. Once you have a perfect, chocolate-fountain-like consistency, spread the chocolate sauce on a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle granola on top. Let the chocolate dry and harden, and the granola will be perfectly embedded within. Delicious!
- Granola and Sweet Potato Mash. For a sweet yet savory side dish, try the crunch of granola with sweet potatoes. Slice up a sweet potato and add the slices to a hot skillet to get them nice and soft, then mash them up while they’re warm in a bowl. Add granola and mix, or just leave on top for your dinner guests to mix it. It’s a unique take on a beloved side dish.
