Meet Base Culture’s 7 Nut & Seed Bread

You may have thought that opting paleo meant forever opting out of breads. At Base Culture, we pride ourselves on ensuring that none of your favorite foods become off-limits in your quest to become your healthiest self. We offer the same classics - bread included - but with more energy and nutrients packed into each bite, all while adhering to the paleo diet.

Meet one of the latest additions to our collection of offerings: our 7 Nut & Seed bread. Just as the name suggests, we mixed a variation of seven nuts and seeds to make sure that just one slice energizes and revitalizes you for your day ahead - whether it’s your morning slice of toast or part of a late afternoon snack.

The bread contains a medley of fats with key ingredients including pecans, hemp seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, almond butter, and pumpkin seeds. This eclectic variation blends fresh, nutty flavors with the perfect balance of crunch.

Here are three of our favorite ways to enjoy our 7 Nut & Seed bread.

  1. Morning Toast

Nuts and seeds are great for providing sustainable energy, while also helping you feel full for longer, which is why just one slice will sustain you through your morning workout or through a busy few hours at the office. Pop a slice in the toaster until lightly browned and crisp, then spread with ghee as a butter substitute. For extra protein and flavor, try one of our almond butters on top - we especially like the original classic flavor, as well as our Cinnamon Almond variation.

  1. As a bun!

The texture, crunch, and wholesome flavor of the 7 Nut & Seed bread make it a strong contender as a bun for a homemade burger. We love this recipe from Joyful Healthy eats: garnish your burger with balsamic glazed onions and avocado slices to complete the sweet yet savory flavor. Simply layer the ingredients between two slices of 7 Nut & Seed bread - it will hold all the goodness together!

  1. Croutons

Get fancy with your summer salads! Simply cut up a few slices of bread into a desired size, brush with a bit of ghee, and throw into the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Then, store them in a plastic bag until cool and hard. These nutty croutons will add the perfect dimension and variety to a wholesome salad, alongside artichokes, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, or whatever you please!
