1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 apples, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks (about 1 ½ cups)
½ teaspoon ground Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Base Culture Gingerbread Almond Butter
2 tablespoons coconut cream or coconut milk yogurt (optional)
SERVING SIZE: Makes 2 servings
Heat coconut oil in frying pan over medium heat.
Add the diced apples and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 - 10 minutes, until softened.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and remove apples from pan.
Add almond butter to warm pan and stir until warm and softened. Add apples with cinnamon back into pan and toss to combine.
Serve warm with a spoonful of whipped coconut cream or coconut milk yogurt, if desired.
